About the lab

The Digital Communication Methods Lab is an initiative of the Amsterdam School of Communication Research, focusing on innovative research and bringing together existing and new projects with digital communication methods as its cornerstone. The lab aims to support innovative work on methods, analyses, and scientific practices relevant to communication science, both as research topics and as data collection methods.

Dr. Joanna Strycharz and Dr. Marthe Möller are co-directors of the lab.

Fellows

Dr. Rebekah Tromble (George Washington University) and Dr. Jakob Ohme (Weizenbaum Institute for the Networked Society) are Fellows of the Digital Communication Methods Lab.

Past Board

The Digital Communication Methods Lab started as an initiative of the RPA Communication. Prof. Claes de Vreese was the director of the RPA Communication, and of the Digital Communication Methods Lab. Dr. Theo Araujo and Dr. Judith Möller were co-directing the lab.
